The Archdiocese of Los Angeles

Dr. Dorin conducts fitness for duty evaluations for incoming candidates into the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. The purpose of such evaluations includes an assessment of a candidate’s emotional, interpersonal, intellectual, spiritual, moral, and psychosexual health prior to entering seminary life.

Vicar for Clergy’s Office, Archdiocese of Los Angeles

Dr. Dorin conducts fitness for duty evaluations for priests who have received allegations of professional misconduct, sexual boundary violations, substance dependency and/or personality-related difficulties.

Vocation Director, Dominican Friars, Province of the Most Holy Name of Jesus

Dr. Dorin conducts fitness for duty evaluations for incoming novitiates into the Western Dominican Province. The purpose of such evaluations includes an assessment of a candidate’s emotional, interpersonal, spiritual and psychosexual health prior to entering their novitiate year with the Dominicans.

Dr. Dorin conducts fitness for duty evaluations for incoming candidates into the Jesuit West Province. The purpose of such evaluations includes an assessment of a candidate’s emotional, interpersonal, spiritual, and psychosexual health prior to entering their novitiate year with the Jesuits.

Los Angeles Community College District

Dr. Dorin conducts fitness for duty evaluations for professors/employees who have received concerns regarding their ability to perform all the duties of their position, according to the observations of their college president, division head, and the Division of Human Resources. The purpose of the evaluation is to assess for neurocognitive, intellectual, and/or psychiatric difficulties that have prevented the employee from performing their duties in a manner that is safe for themselves, co-workers, students and/or the public.

New Vista Behavioral Health, Professional Treatment Program, Santa Monica

Dr. Dorin has conducted Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations (CDE), which assess fitness for duty issues in professionals referred by the medical board and/or regulatory agencies (physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, dentists, professors, pilots, corporate executives, entertainment agents, etc.) with chemical dependency issues, sexual workplace violations, work-related difficulties, and/or personality-related difficulties.

Promises Professional Treatment Program, West Los Angeles, CA

Dr. Dorin has conducted Intensive Diagnostic Evaluations (IDE’s) for physicians referred by the medical board with misconduct issues involving substance difficulties, sexual violations in the workplace, and/or personality-related difficulties.

Sexual Recovery Institute Professional Assessment Program in Los Angeles, CA

Dr. Dorin has conducted assessments of professional misconduct (professionals having crossed sexual or relationship boundaries in the workplace environment) for governing boards, licensing boards and/or regulating agencies.
